Please read this section carefully before purchasing a machine from us.

Sold as Seen (Spares or Repair)

When purchasing a machine from A&V Trade Sales it will be purchased with no warranty or guarantee. Not fit for road usage/ sold as seen/ spares or repair – each of our machines has to fit one or all of these categories for us to be able to sell them at guide price. As all of our machines fit this it enables us to supply them exempt of any form of warranty/guarantee including statutory warranty ( this does not mean that all of our machines are unfit for road usage as many are supplied with new or current mot’s ).

You are advised to check over our machines prior to purchase and all documents are available for you to view ( unless stated that a machine has no documents ). You will be requested to sign a warranty disclaimer to show that you have accepted and acknowledged our conditions of sale. Our machines are priced according to condition and current trade/insurance values. Many machines will be of an age where they will not be listed in any current trade guide. Therefore they will be priced upon suggested trade value at the time which will be researched.

Deposits

Deposits are taken in the form of cash or cheque. Card payments are accepted but a charge of 3% will be added to the total amount.

Deposits only secure a machine for 7 days. If you do not collect your machine after the 7 day period you will lose your deposit and the machine will be put back up for sale. Deposits are non refundable

Customers under the age of 16

People under the age of 16 are classed as minors. Anyone under the age of 16 who wishes to purchase any machine must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Parent or guardian will be asked to counter sign the disclaimer. Then and only then will we allow the transaction to complete. Please note: both the customer and the parent/guardian may be asked to provide identification at the time of the transaction.

Cheque Payments

If purchasing a machine by cheque, the machine will not be released until the cheque is cleared by your bank. We advise that this process can take up to 6 working days (This does not affect your 7 day deposit period and does not include weekends and bank holidays).

All major Credit and Debit cards accepted.

 

Our 5 star rating:

Excellent

Excellent condition. Ready to retail. May have history, Hpi, probable Mot and tax and all relevant documents. May have none or possibly one or two very minor cosmetic faults.

Very Good

Very good condition, a bike that has been well looked after. May need a valet and may have some history. Great potential and very saleable. Will have some minor cosmetic blemishes.

Good

Good condition, used, but not abused with some noticeable cosmetic blemishes. Will need a valet and may have part history.

Average

Average condition. Showing its age / mileage, so likely to have lots of cosmetic blemishes. May have part paperwork and will need a valet and service.

Below Average

Poor condition. Un-loved, not pretty. Has been used as daily transport not a weekend toy. Possible total restoration and if classic to bring back to original. Possible spares or repair. May have little or no paper work. May be subject to cat C or D.

Storage

Additional storage for any vehicle is available upon request, prices start from £10 per day.

Delivery

We offer a delivery service within a certain radius. Prices start from £30 and alter according to distance. Further details of this service are available on request.
